Thank you Launch Tour and Launch Festival + New Jams

Yo! It’s been about 6 months since SIEST came out. People still dig it, which is super rad to hear. We had a great Launch Tour and had an awesome time supporting Bayside at the festival in Lancaster PA. We are playing a couple of shows and hibernating a bit – working on new music and some other special projects. We have confirmed a fall tour and dates will be up soon! Much love. 🙂

The tour then takes us right to the festival where we will be supporting BAYSIDE on the main stage on April 21. Not a bad start to 2016. 🙂 More news soon!

Back home from tour

The Quit Your Job Start a Band 2016 Tour was a huge success. We had some insanely packed rooms on this run – by far the most successful tour we have had to date. Thank you to everyone that came out to a show! We will have some big announcements soon, but in the mean time, we are stoked to announce that we will be direct support for Unwritten Law and Fenix TX at Baltimore Soundstage on March 30, 2016!

Tour Update / Philly Show Venue Change

YO! It’s been a crazy few days. We had an awesome show in Stroudsburg PA on day 1 – met some awesome new people and had a blast playing with two cool locals, Good News and Sociopath Anatomy.

Unfortunately, that’s when the trouble started with our van… to make a long story short, we had to cancel day 2 in Vestal NY as our van refused to start back up and we spent most of the day praying a local mechanic could fix it in time. No dice… so instead of risking the next day, we sent the van back home on a tow truck, got a rental car and drove out to Pittsburgh on day 3. We are super bummed to have missed the show in Vestal and we hope to make it up to anyone that was planning to see us.

Pittsburgh was fantastic. We played a house venue with incredible locals As Ladders and Bindley Hardware Company. Today (day 4), we had an off day which worked out great to figure out the rest of the tour.

We are good to go moving forward and are super stoked for the rest of the shows! We still have New Brunswick NJ, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York City and Long Branch NJ.

I can’t say enough how awesome it is to meet such great people everyday and to get the opportunity to travel around and play music. You guys make all that possible by showing up, buying merch and supporting the band – so thank you!

The Philly show on January 8 is now at Connie’s Ric Rac. Here’s the facebook link.

Lancaster was DOPE; BALTIMORE 12/16 w/ Punchline!

LANCASTER PA – You were amazing. Thank you for all the love you gave us Sunday night!! It was a packed house and we know you were stoked to see Andrew WK. As much as it is awesome being direct support to a great headliner, there’s also a ton of pressure since we know you are waiting for them. That being said, you SANG, you SCREAMED, you DANCED. THANK YOU for being awesome and treating us like royalty.

BALTIMORE – you’re next! We’ll be back home on Wednesday at the Ottobar supporting our good friends in Punchline as they embark on the “Thrilled” tour in support of their new and fantastic album. If you haven’t gotten it yet, GO GET IT. This will be our last show in Baltimore for a long time. COME HANG. Netflix will be there when you get home.

North east tour dates coming soon! Love you all!

Love for SIEST; new X-Mas Split EP w/ Carousel Kings; shows with ANDREW WK and PUNCHLINE

YO! “Songs in Eastern Standard Timing” has been getting some great reviews. We are so excited that our debut record is getting some love. It’s only been a little over a year of our existence so it’s pretty incredible how far we have come already. I really can’t thank everyone that has been involved enough from the band itself to people that engineered/produced the record, video folks, promoters, friends, family and everyone in between. You know who you are. If you haven’t yet, snag it on iTunes or stream it on Spotify!

TGHB Songs in EST Art

“Annoyingly catchy… highly polished debut…a solid ear for hooks.” – Baltimore City Paper

“It’s hard to believe that the Baltimore natives have only been working together for a little over a year as The Great Heights Band truly lives up to its name on the band’s debut full length. Songs In Eastern Standard Timing is a soaring example of fun, funky, and vintage pop melodies, with clear indications that there is nowhere for this band to go but up. 8/10.”

And to ring in the holiday season, we are super stoked to have released a split EP with our label mates Carousel Kings. It’s called “Three Christmas Classics… A Four Song EP” – we cover the holiday classic “White Christmas” and have our original “Twisted Christmas” on the EP. Check it out on Spotify and snag it exclusively at the CI Records store!

And finally, we have a couple of big shows to close out an awesome first year as a band!! On December 13, we will be rocking Chameleon Club in Lancaster PA with the party king Andrew WK. This show will sell out so snag tix ASAP!

On December 16, we will be supporting one of our legit favorite bands Punchline at The Ottobar in Baltimore to celebrate the release of their fantastic new album, “Thrilled”. First 37 people there get this super rad hand-numbered exclusive poster! Tix available here.

As always thanks homies! We will be announcing January north east USA tour dates shortly!!
